Shimee: Transcribe your Google Meets
Shimee is a Chrome add-on developed by Shimee that allows you to capture and download transcripts of your Google Meets. With just a few simple steps, you can easily access the text version of your meetings for future reference.
To get started, simply click on the Shimee extension icon and continue with your Google account. Once enabled, Shimee will automatically transcribe your meetings whenever you open a Google Meet page. After your meetings have finished, you can check back for the transcripts by clicking on the extension icon again.
The transcripts provided by Shimee serve as a valuable tool for recalling and reviewing important information discussed in meetings. With the ability to download the transcripts as .md files, you can easily import them into your favorite note-taking apps such as Notion and Obsidian.
